John Campbell, BDS, DGDPRCS – Orthodontic Specialist


John first qualified as a dentist in 1983 and quickly became a Principal in General Practice with his wife, Lucy. John continued to follow his early interest in Orthodontics and became a Clinical Assistant at Warwick Hospital in 1987.

He was then invited by the Head of Orthodontics at Birmingham Dental Hospital to become a Clinical Tutor of Orthodontics for the undergraduate programme. His fifteen-year career at the hospital gave John the opportunity to ask some of the best students to join his team on their graduation.

In 2002, following further study and assessment, John was awarded Specialist Status in Orthodontics by the General Dental Council and his name was placed on the Specialist List.

John now devotes himself fully to Specialist Orthodontic Practice and is proud to be continuing the development of his practices so that they remain amongst the best Orthodontic Centres in the country.

John enjoys playing and coaching rugby with his two sons, AJ and Patrick. He is also a keen snowboarder, angler, car enthusiast and enjoys a round of golf.

Louise Gidda, BDS, MFGDP
Louise  earned her dental degree from The University of Birmingham over ten years ago with a distinction in clinical dentistry. Following further study and examinations for the Royal College of Surgeons she became a member of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners.

 

Louise is a member of leading dental organisations such as The Midlands and British Orthodontic Societies. She regularly attends continuing professional education courses such as Clearstep and Excellence in Orthodontics to keep her knowledge updated.


In her leisure time Louise enjoys training at the gym, travelling and cooking for her young family.

  

Parveen Chana, BDS, MFGDP

Parveen graduated from The University of Birmingham Dental School in July 2000 and gained her MFGDP qualification soon afterwards in 2002. At university, she was nominated for several prizes including the Prize for General Dental Practice and the Prize for Best Clinical Case Presentation.

 

She joined the Pinnacle Orthodontics team in January 2003 and currently divides her time between specialist orthodontic practice and general dental practice. She is a member of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners at the Royal College of Surgeons and a member of the Midland Orthodontic Society.

Parveen is committed to continuing professional development and regularly attends study days, meetings, courses and conferences including the British Orthodontic Conference.

 

When not at work, Parveen enjoys travelling, reading, swimming, world cinema and spending time with family and friends.



Kay Hayer, BDS, MFGDP
Having graduated from Manchester University in 2001 with a dentistry degree, Kay completed the MFGDP qualification in 2004. After her vocational training year, she joined the Pinnacle team in Redditch, initially as a one - day clinical assisstant.

Six months later, making a commitment to her orthodontic interest , she became a full - time associate, dividing her time between both Pinnacle practices.


She is currently a member of the Midland Orthodontic Society ,which supports her ongoing professional development.

Outside of work, she enjoys burning calories in the gym and is kept busy entertaining her young family.



Sian Mulligan, BDS, MFGDP
Sian qualified from Birmingham Dental Hospital in 2000 and worked as a general dental practitioner in Stratford-upon-Avon until 2005. During this period Sian undertook postgraduate studies leading to full membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners in 2001.

In 2003 Sian joined Pinnacle Orthodontics and began to focus her attention on improving the appearance of her patient's teeth.

 

Sian finds her work incredibly rewarding and has worked with hundreds of patients over the past seven years to achieve their ideal result. Sian married in 2004 and has a young family of three boys who fully occupy the rest of her time!

Alison Finlay, BDS, MFGDP
'After graduating with a joint honours degree in Genetics and Botany from Queens University  Belfast, she completed a BDS at the Queens University School of Dentistry, Belfast. Post graduation, she completed a year there as a junior house officer before she moved to Nottingham to take up a senior house officer post in Orthodontics.


Further hospital jobs in Sheffield and Leeds followed, where Alison gained wider experience and developed her special interest in orthodontics , before  she went into general dental practice.

 

Alison now divides her time between Orthodontic specialist practice and the Special Care Dental Service. She has undergone further specialist training  in aesthetics, and is qualified to administer Botox and dermal fillers.
